About me
Hello wonderful humans! My name is Simon. I am a personal trainer certified through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), and also hold my CNC (Certified Nutrition Coach) though NASM as well. As a personal trainer, my goal is to work with you to give you the tools to develop a healthy and strong body. I’ll work with you to increase your strength, stability, mobility, and functional movement. I’ve coached clients though weight loss and assisted in meal planning.
If you’re new to fitness and hesitant to get started, I’ll work to help you be more comfortable in your body and in the gym! I also encourage groups of friends at a similar level to come workout together; which can provide encouragement and the support need to stay motivated. Creating healthy patterns and healthy routines are key. I know this works—physical fitness has profoundly changed my life for the better!
Movement was always helpful to me. In middle school I played soccer, in high school I played basketball (4 years as a starting shooting guard), ultimate frisbee, competed in track & field (400m/400m relay and Javelin) cross country, and I participated in hood to coast. I myself have struggled with serious injuries, from tearing my IT band, chronic lower back pain, to rehabilitation from a massive shoulder surgery.
